Numa

Greek • πνεῦμα • wind, breath, soul/spirit

Our name is adapted from the word used in the Old Testament to refer to Spirit and breath. This word encapsulates what it means to have life, purposeful thought, and intention. The idea of having intentional thoughts & ideas, and using them to bring order & justice is the true essence of the word pneuma.

Pneuma is applying conscious purpose to raw materials, which connects on a practical level to the artisanal aspects of millwork, as well as design. As a business, our desire is to bring order and thoughtfulness to a process that can sometimes be chaotic and stressful.
